Community Fun Day

Forthspring Inter Community Group had a great Community Fun Day on 11th August 2022, delivered in partnership with Participation and Practice Of Rights and Grow. This was a fantastic day, with around 150 visitors from the local community and lots of activities for visitors such as making a planter or a stool. People from community gardens throughout Belfast donated produce too so people could take fresh fruit and vegetables and make a small donation to Forthspring. There was lots for kids to do as well – bubbles, stone painting, hammocks… Women from Anaka Women’s Collective made delicious food and Pauline O’Flynn from Grow made delicious pizzas.

The sun shone all day and lots of people stayed the whole day.
