Forthspring healthy eating programme

With funding from Upper Springfield Development Trust, all the projects within Forthspring were able to deliver healthy eating programmes during March 2021.

Over a four week period, MUMO families made delicious recipes including chicken fajitas and a ready, steady, cook week where participants were given a bag of healthy groceries and had to make up their own recipes which looked colourful, delicious and nutritious

Springers afterschools made pancakes with fresh fruit as an activity for the children and then sent ingredients home for the children to make pancakes for mums on Mother’s Day.

Young people were delivered ingredients and made healthy meals through Youth Matters.
